Helping Families. Supporting Communities. Empowering Individuals.

Welcome to the GRANTS section of the IDHS website where providers (grantees) find information about human services grants. Please find the pathway to either of our two sub-sections:

The Grants Alert System (GAS) provides information about grants that are available from external sources such as the federal government, foundations and corporations. This section also contains an abundance of materials about grant writing, training opportunities for grant writing, and how to get added to the ListServe, to be notified of funding opportunities.

Grants from IDHS provides information about grants available through IDHS and the State of Illinois. These grants may be either competitive or non-competitive. They may be totally federally funded, from federal pass-through funds, or full or partially State funded grants.

Information is included about requirements related to the federal uniform guidance 2 CFR 200 and Illinois' Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA), which adopts the federal guidance for state grants.

The Notices of Funding Opportunities for Fy 2018 grants through IDHS are/will be available in this section.
