The Illinois Department of Human Services, Bureau of Disability Determination Services is seeking currently licensed mental health professionals (excluding M.A.'s) to join an adjudicative team for the sole purpose of evaluating Social Security disability claims. Duties include the consideration of medical evidence in disability cases as well as making findings of fact on the medical issues, including, but not limited to, the existence and severity of an individual's impairment. Qualified candidates should be willing to work between 25-30 hours per week in a fast-paced office setting in Springfield, Illinois and have proficient keyboarding skills.

The Illinois Bureau of Disability Determination Services is in need of Illinois licensed primary care physicians to perform consultative examinations and/or testing throughout the State of Illinois for Social Security disability applicants. These are one time examinations with no treatment or follow up required. Examinations are performed according to your schedule and payment is made in 4-6 weeks. We currently have needs in several specialties including: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Practice, Optometry, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics and Neurology.
