Audience

Community developmental disabilities providers who develop goals and objectives for individuals to whom they provide services. 

Purpose

This webinar provides an in-depth discussion of background checks required for employees of community-based developmental disabilities providers providing services under contract with the Department of Human Services' Division of Developmental Disabilities.  Information will include expectations and methods for various background checks required at the time of hire and annually, thereafter.

Continuing Education (CE) Credits

CE credit is offered by the Division of Developmental Disabilities for those participating in this session. The number of CE hours is tied to the actual length of the webinar, rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes (0.25 hour). The presenter will announce the specific amount of CE credit at the conclusion of the webinar.

QIDPs are eligible for CE credit and the same CE credit is approved for the following professional license:

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator(LNHA)

Certificate of Participation and Documentation
