Event
Disproportionate Minority Contact (DMC) Training conducted by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in Partnership with the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission will take place on August 24th.
The training is intended to improve local understanding of the overrepresentation of minority youth in the justice system and provide concrete strategies to reduce overrepresentation. The training will include lively discussion of emerging trends in the field and outline national best practices on DMC and disparities reduction.
