Role of the Monitor

  • To facilitate resolution of compliance issues without court intervention
  • To evaluate compliance and issue annual reports to the court
  • When necessary, to issue recommendations to the Court to resolve compliance issues.
  • to review and evaluate data
  • Develop compliance standards by 10/19/2011 to address:
    • Transition planning
    • Crisis services
    • Timely transition of class members from ICFs/DD
    • Services to class members on waiting list
