DHS/DASA FISCAL 2012 NAME CHANGE
TO THE DASA/DCFS FAMILY RECOVERY PARTNERSHIP

DASA is changing the name of the DASA/DCFS Family Recovery Partnership to "Family Centered Treatment/Recovery Support Services." This name change in part will offer support to DASA's Performance Based Contracting efforts. DASA is continuing to develop strategies and a framework for quality improvement in substance abuse and addiction health care.

In providing Family Centered Treatment, DASA's funded treatment programs interface with other health and social service agencies, including child welfare. An integrated substance abuse and child welfare service delivery will provide for the safety, stability, and well-being of children and their families affected by child abuse and neglect as well as with substance use disorders.

Again, in future reference and acknowledgement, please refer to the official name change in written and/or verbal correspondence.
