POLICY COMMITTEE ELECTION

Procedures:

  1. Last season's Policy Committee, whether or not they still have children in the program, will sit until their replacements take office.
  2. At the first Parent Committee meeting, the group elects _________ parents from each classroom to serve on the Policy Committee.
  3. At the first meeting of the newly-elected Policy Committee, the members and staff will nominate candidates for Community Representatives to fill a maximum of 49% of its seats. Policy Committee members elect Community Representatives.
  4. Parents and Community Representatives must stand for re-election yearly, and may serve only three terms.

SELECCIÓN DEL COMITE DE POLITICAS

Procedimiento:

  1. El Comité de Politicas de la temporada que acaba de pasar, tengan o tengan niños aun niños inscriptos en el programa, no puede disolverse hasta que sus sucesores tomen sus puestos.
  2. En la primera reunión del Comité de Padres, el grupo elegirá _______ padres de cada salón de clase para servir en el Comité de Politicas.
  3. En la primera reunión con los oficiales recién elegidos al Comité de Politicas, los miembros y el personal nominarán candidatos para Representantes Comunitarios que llenarán hasta un máximo del 49% de sus plazas.
  4. Padres y Representantes Comunitarios deben someterse a elecciones anualmente y pueden servir un total de tres términos.
