Office of the Inspector General (OIG) Training
Staff who complete the Rule 50 PowerPoint curriculum should sign and date a statement indicating they have completed and understand the contents of the training. The supervisor may also adminster a test on the content. The signed and dated statement or test results must be maintained in the employee's personnel or training file.

DHS myNetLearning Computer-Based Learning (CBL)
You must have a myNetLearning ID to take the Rule 50 training that is on the myNetLearning System.The slides are identical to the PowerPoint slide show (see link above) and staff can satisfy this training requirement by following the instructions in paragraph 2. above. Use of the myNetLearning system is limited to licensed professionals, Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals (QIDPs) and staff who need to register for an instructor-led class.The NetLearning system is used to document their continuing education credits.
How to Use the myNetLearning System
Locate your myNetLearning Login ID
- Log into myNetLearning
- Scroll to the bottom of the page where you see "Enroll in CBL" and type "Rule 50" in the box with the magnifying glass.
- Click on the green plus sign next to "OIG Rule 50-2010. training curriculum" using the pull-down menu.
- A box will appear with course information and an "enroll" button. Click on "enroll" and then "launch the course" in the next box.
- After reading through the CBL, proceed to "Take Test."
The CBL will remain on your "myCourses/Classes" list at the top of the page until you read through the course and take the test. Upon successful completion of the test, the course will be added to your DHS myNetLearning transcript.
Documentation of Training
Documentaton showing completion of OIG Rule 50 training must be maintained in the employee's personnel or training file.
