Plain Language Explanation
This rulemaking will: add Schedule III, IV and V drugs to the Prescription Monitoring Program; include language about the Illinois Prescription Information Library and how to access this system; authorize other states access to Illinois' Prescription Monitoring Program; and require Pharmacists to report prescriptions dispensed weekly rather than semi-monthly.
