Intended Audience Course coordinators and training staff responsible for basic QIDP training for new and existing QIDPs.  Please see details below about preparing for class, dates, time, how to register and cancel, materials needed, continuing education credits (CEs) and Certificate of Attendance.

Class start & end time Registration:  8:30 AM.  Class:  9:00 AM - 4:00 PM both days.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Class starts promptly at 9:00 AM.

  • 3/3/16 and 3/4/16, Springfield
    • Location and Parking:  Illinois Department of Natural Resources (DNR) 1 Natural Resources Way, Gate 7, Illinois State Fairgrounds Springfield, IL 62702, Lakeview B Room (lower level). Parking: Lot 21 only. You will need to sign in and out when entering building at security desk.
  • 5/17/16 and 5/18/16, Springfield
    • LOCATION CHANGE TO:The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), 1021 North Grand Avenue East, Springfield, IL 62701.  Parking:  Lot E North building entrance are a few visitor spots. Additional parking is in large lot on Converse Street across street from the main North Entrance IEPA building (North). You should see a gate, some state cars and next to Bingo Hall for the North parking lot area.  You will need to sign-in and out at the security desk.
Objectives
  • Attendance does NOT count toward the 40-hours training requirement for new QIDPs or automatically qualify you to be a QIDP Instructor.

  • QIDP orientation training program components
  • agency specific information to incorporate into the training
  • program requirements for QIDP orientation training program
  • training requirements for QIDPs
Continuing Education
Credits (CEs)

2 day (12-hour course)

Twelve (12) hours of Continuing Education Credits are offered for all professional licenses.

QIDPs may also apply this training toward the 12 hours annual continuing education credits requirement.

  • When you complete required Registration Form for a training event, you will be entered into the IDHS OneNet Learning Module system.
  • You will receive a registration confirmation at least two days in advance of the class to the email address listed on the online IDHS OneNet Learning Module Training Registration Form.
Cancel Your
Registration
To cancel your registration, please email the Bureau of Quality Management at DHS.BQM@illinois.gov or (217) 782-9438.

or Rescheduled
  • The Bureau of Quality Management will notify you by email listed on the online DD OneNet Learning Module Training Event Registration Form at least 24 hours prior to the event.

Transcript

  • Upon completion of the QIDP Course Coordinator training event the IDHS Presenter will provide registrants with a Certificate of Attendance to maintain as documentation of CEs for the training record files. 
  • Upon request to DHS.BQM@illinois.gov a copy of your IDHS OneNet Learning Module transcript report of DD classes will be provided via email.
