The Division of Family & Community Services (FCS) provides income, medical assistance and other supportive services to clients needing temporary assistance to become self-sufficient. These programs work "hand in glove" with the local Family and Community Resource Center offices. By capitalizing on the positive attributes of individuals and minimizing the deficits, the Division through the Bureau of Basic Supports' Title XX unit administers contracts to provide services to enable individuals to become self sufficient. To accomplish this objective, services are provided to low income individuals who need assistance to obtain, retain or improve employment.
