Attention Case Management Users

Beginning July 1, 2009, all appropriate clients should be enrolled as either APORS or HRIF on the PA15 screen. The Birth Screen APORS question will no longer be used as the data source for any client as of July 1.

Effective immediately, as new high-risk infants are enrolled, identify appropriate program on the PA15 (APORS or HRIF), along with the CM code. As you make contact with existing clients, please update the PA15 screen to reflect accurate program information using the new codes. This will assure that by July 1 all appropriate clients will have the correct program codes entered. On July 1, all reports related to care of high-risk clients will be generated using the PA15 program status.

In Chicago, Cook County Department of Public Health and Chicago Department of Health are the only agencies who can enroll APORS clients. If an infant or child is enrolled at either health department with a program code of APORS or HRIF, they are not to be "pulled" by another case management agency. The only exception to this policy is a special arrangement DHS/DCFS has established between Sinai Community and CCDPH.
