Notice:  Beginning in SFY2013, the WIC Program will be focused on Exclusivity and Duration.  Breastfeeding Initiation will not be tracked.

The report descriptions are made for the people who are working in the Cornerstone system, it explains what screens and fields affect this report.

Breastfeeding Report

Infants born to WIC mothers during the report period.

• Report Item: Clinic

  • Data Entry Screen - Program Information (PA15)
    • Data Field
      clinic id
    • Selection Criteria - Clinic where the mother was active in WIC at delivery

• Report Item: Total Newborn Infants

  • Data Entry Screen - Program Information (PA15)
    • Data Fields
      program code,
      open/cert date,
      actual closed/term date,
      program status,
      category
    • Selection Criteria - Participants who were active in WIC during the report period with a category of breastfeeding, postpartum or pregnant.
  • Data Entry Screen - Postpartum Data (PA10)
    • Data Fields
      actual delivery date,
      pregnancy outcome,
      infant's participant id
    • Selection Criteria - Live birth with an actual delivery date during the report period.
  • Data Entry Screen - Birth Data (PA11)
    • Data Field
      mother's participant id
    • Selection Criteria - Used to link mothers and infants not linked on the postpartum data screen.

WIC Infants Turning One Year Old During the Report Period

• Report Item: Total on WIC at 6 Months

    • Selection Criteria - Infants who had their first birthday during the report period
