This sub-topic contains TARs that are used to:

  • change case information;
  • change spenddown status or information;
  • reduce the amount of monthly cash benefits; or
  • start, cancel, suspend, or resume food stamps on Cash/FS or Medical/FS cases.

These TARs can be used with TAs 14, 31, 40, or 41.

Transfer-In of Active Case (TA 40)

Use this TAR to transfer an active case from one Family Community Resource Center to another without making any changes to needs, income, social data, etc.

  • A8 - Quick Transfer-In (QTI) of case to new office

(TA 40 Only) (Not valid in multi-office counties)

Change or Correction of Information

(TA 14, TA 31, TA 40, TA 41)

No Change in Benefits (AABD Cash or AABD Medical, and FS if included on Form 552)

Use the following TARs for changes that are not a reduction in cash benefits. A central notice is issued if a reduction in FS benefits is centrally calculated, or if an address change is made for FS (TAR 42) and the central notice is not suppressed.

Except for TAR 88, the following TPL codes are centrally entered for FCRC information only. FCRC cannot enter.

Reduced Benefits (AABD Cash or AABD Medical, and FS if included on Form 552)

The following TARs generate a central notice for AABD cash cases, unless suppressed in Item 39. These TARs can also apply to medical cases, but the Family Community Resource Center sends the medical notice. For Medical/FS cases the notice is centrally sent with the correct FS reason message, unless suppressed.
