customer can change the PIN at any time by contacting the Illinois Link Help Line at
1-800-678-LINK (5465) or going to the the Link Card website at www.link.illinois.gov. They don't have to know the old PIN to get a new one. A new Illinois Link card is not issued unless the customer requests a replacement card.
If 4 wrong PIN numbers in a row are entered at a store or ATM, the Link account is frozen until the customer changes their PIN.
