Notify the client in writing of an assessment appointment within 30 days from the date:

  • a nonexempt client's request for SNAP is approved;
  • an exempt client becomes nonexempt; or
  • an exempt client volunteers for SNAP E & T.

The notice informs the client of:

  • the date and time of the meeting;
  • the purpose of the meeting;
  • the consequences of failing to attend;
  • the right to reschedule for good cause; and
  • the name, address, and telephone number of the worker to contact.
