The emphasis of the Healthy Kids program is on prevention. Children from birth through age 20 are eligible for periodic screenings and other services.
Services provided through Healthy Kids are:
- periodic health screenings;
- immunizations;
- certain diagnostic procedures and treatment for an identified condition;
- referral for dental care starting at age 2; and
- help in finding a provider, scheduling an appointment, and arranging transportation.
The Family Community Resource Center may assist in finding providers, scheduling appointments, and arranging transportation.
