HFS pays for the following services provided by community mental health centers:
- mental health assessment;
- development of an individual treatment plan;
- medication monitoring and training;
- crisis intervention;
- psychiatric treatment;
- community-based rehabilitation;
- client-centered consultation;
- day treatment; and
- case management.
NOTE: HFS does not pay for psychiatric care provided to a Category 07 GA client age 18 or older, by a source other than a community mental health center. Make a referral to DMHDD if services are
needed.
