1. (FCRC) Do not require a person who receives GA-TA or GA-FCA to come to the Family Community Resource Center for a GA REDE interview, unless an SNAP REDE is needed. If more information is needed to complete the GA REDE, try to contact the client by phone or send Form 1721 to the client.

Obtain any other information necessary to complete the REDE. This includes an AWVS clearance for each person in the benefit unit whose SSN was obtained during the REDE process, but which does not appear on Form 552. Enter the SSN on Form 552.

  2. (FCRC) After securing any new information, review eligibility and need, and complete authorization, reporting, and case record documents as follows:
    • Revise Form 552 to indicate the date the REDE was completed and any changes in eligibility, social data, and/or benefit amount.
    • Complete GA Budget Computation - Income Maintenance (Form 553GA) and attach to Form 2027, Form 2027B, or Form 4002 when income is indicated.

(System) Sends Form 157C if there is a decrease in the benefit amount or if suspension or cancellation is indicated on Form 552. Form 157C must identify the reason for the action being taken and reference the policy that applies.

PAL codes must be entered in Item 44 of Form 552 whenever a REDE is completed or whenever a case change resulting from a review initiated by the PAL is submitted. See WAG 19-06-00 for an explanation of criteria codes.

NOTE: If the client fails to provide the necessary information, cancel the case using TAR 88. If the unit receives SNAP benefits, take the correct action regarding SNAP.

  3. (FCRC) Complete the authorization, reporting, and case record documents. Submit Form 2027, Forms 2027A and 2027B, or Form 4002 and all other forms and documents requiring supervisory review for review.
