Two separate actions must be transmitted to:

  • update Item 32 to the current enrollment period, and
  • change the status from a regular community case to a spenddown community case.

Transmit the actions in the following order:

  1. Transmit a TA 30 using the current processing month in Item 2 to update Item 32 (see WAG 19-02-05-a).
  2. As soon as the TA 30 processes, immediately change the status from a regular community case to a spenddown community case. Do not wait for a return Form 552.
  3. Follow instructions in WAG 18-05-12-a.
