For extended medical cases, the FCRC is responsible for:

  • All food stamp actions. This includes REDEs, adding, deleting, and maintenance.

    NOTE: MEU adds any newborn reported to them for both medical and food stamps. 

  • All additions, except for newborns reported to MEU.
  • SWAPping the case to TANF, if appropriate, and deleting code X in Item 25.
  • After extended medical is terminated, maintaining a All Kids Assist case eligible due to continuous eligibility.
  • After the end of extended medical, maintaining a case determined eligible for Assist or Moms and Babies.
