WAG 18-03-06-b.

Nonfinancial

If the client cooperates to determine eligibility, but fails to provide proof of a nonfinancial factor, do not add the person to the case. Include the person's income and assets and determine financial eligibility for the rest of the family. Add the person to the case when all eligibility factors are received as of the date the person was required to be in the assistance unit.

Financial

Proof of all income or assets must be received before adding a person (other than a newborn) to a case.

If the client fails to provide proof of income or assets for a child (other than a newborn), SWAP the case to Medical Only. Do not include the child for whom income verifications were not provided in the Medical Only, but include the child in the income standard. The remaining family members remain eligible for Medical Only.

If the client fails to provide proof of assets for the parent of a child in the case, SWAP the case to Medical Only. If the client fails to provide proof of income for the parent of a child in the case, delete the adults or cancel the case, depending on the Last Medicaid Determination Date.
