Deny the application if the applicant:
- does not qualify for the cash, medical, and/or SNAP benefits they requested; or
- decides to withdraw the application; or
- does not cooperate in determining eligibility. This includes being unwilling to provide needed information and refusing to allow DHS to verify information.
Ensure that a written notice of decision is issued for a denied application. Deny the application through the Automated Intake System (AIS) when possible.
