The Family Community Resource Center must take action to assist the applicant. Actions to assist include:

  • Helping complete the application form. Offer to help, even if the applicant does not ask for help.
  • Giving the applicant a written request for any needed verifications and allowing 10 days for the applicant to provide them. If the applicant is cooperative and is having problems getting the verification, help the applicant get it.
  • Scheduling another interview when the applicant misses the original scheduled interview and requests that another interview be scheduled.
