For AABD cases that are in protective payment status, if the client has also been assigned a representative payee for their SSI checks by SSA:
(IM)
- Inform the Social Security office when you determine that circumstances show that the client no longer needs to be in protective payment status.
- Stop a protective payment plan when you learn that SSA has ended their SSI representative payment plan.
