When a caretaker relative requests that their protective payment plan be stopped, and an employee of a social service agency was involved in setting up the plan:

  1. (FCRC) Contact the social service agency and ask them to review the situation and decide if mismanagement still exists.
  2. (FCRC) Enter in the case record the findings of the social service agency review.
  3. (FCRC) End the protective payment plan only if there is evidence to show that the conditions causing mismanagement no longer exist.
