When a caretaker relative requests that their protective payment plan be stopped, and an employee of a social service agency was involved in setting up the plan:
- (FCRC) Contact the social service agency and ask them to review the situation and decide if mismanagement still exists.
- (FCRC) Enter in the case record the findings of the social service agency review.
- (FCRC) End the protective payment plan only if there is evidence to show that the conditions causing mismanagement no longer exist.
