Effective for October 1st of each year, USDA revises the Maximum Benefit Standards, standard deduction, and maximum excess shelter deduction. The September fiscal month of SNAP units in Groups 05 through 09 includes days which fall in the October calendar month. To reflect the new standards for these cases, increase the portion of the September benefit which covers October 1st and later.
