When the applicant is a contractual employee under an annual contract or agreement:
To determine eligibility:
Step 1: Use the annual gross pay as specified by the contract.
Step 2: Divide the annual gross pay (Step 1) by the number of months covered by the contract to determine average monthly pay.
Step 3: Use the average monthly pay when comparing income to the Payment Level.
Except for applicants who reapply in the same fiscal month benefits were discontinued, to determine the IPE amount see WAG 12-02-03-b.
Use the actual pay expected to be received during the IPE period.
If the applicant is employed under a contract as a:
- teacher's aide,
- school custodian,
- school cafeteria worker, or
- other school employee as defined in PM 12-02-04-b,
see WAG 12-02-03-b and use the procedures found there.
