The Department of Human Services - Office of Mental Health, and Department of Human Services - Office of Developmental Disabilities (DHS - OMH/ODD) operates all public state mental health and developmental centers. DHS - OMH/ODD provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services in the facilities which they operate.

DHS - OMH/ODD regulates all public and private mental health facilities located throughout the state.
