WAG 08-03-07-a.

Exempt that portion of a personal injury settlement used to pay for:

  • necessary costs of litigation or settlement, including attorney's fees;
  • DPA's charge upon a claim (see PM 23-07-01);
  • medical costs resulting from the injury and paid by the client; and
  • expenses to repair or replace personal property that was damaged as a result of the injury.
