Earmarked income of a unit member is available to meet the needs of the entire unit. The payee of the unit can choose to delete the person with the earmarked income from the case if the income is sufficient to meet the person's needs. The deleted
member's earmarked income does not affect the unit's eligibility unless that person is legally responsible for another unit member. If the deleted person is responsible for a unit member, their income is used to meet that member's needs.
