Disqualify a noncategorically eligible SNAP unit (PM 05-07-00,(PM 05-07-02 )from SNAP benefits for up to one year from the date of discovery if a unit member, including an ineligible unit member, has knowingly transferred assets:
- in the 3 months before the date of application or during the application process in order to qualify or attempt to qualify for SNAP benefits; or
- for active cases, to prevent the unit's assets from exceeding the asset limit.
NOTE: Exempt asset transfers do not affect eligibility.
