WAG 03-18-02: Age 55 or Over and Underemployed

PM 03-18-02.

For a person age 55 and over and underemployed, enter code 05 in Form 552 Item 14.

Accept the person's statement regarding their wages unless there is evidence to the contrary, such as an AWVS clearance.

Eligibility Review

Review eligibility based on wages at each REDE.

A client is no longer "not employable" if they have had gross wages of more than $2,000 in the past year and/or has earned $200 or more a month in 7 of those months. Review the other criteria for being "not employable".

If the client does not meet any of the criteria for being "not employable", cancel the case using TAR 66.
