A voluntary reduction in work hours to less than 30 hours per week does not affect eligibility if:

  • there was good cause for reducing work hours; or
  • the hours are reduced by the employer; or
  • the reduction in hours is due to the ending of a self-employment business; or
  • the employer demands that the person resign.
