A student of any age is exempt if enrolled at least half-time in any recognized school, training program, or school of higher education. To be exempt, students of higher education must also meet the student eligibility requirements in PM 03-04-03-b. Students remain exempt during school vacations unless they:

  • graduate, or
  • are expelled or suspended, or
  • drop out, or
  • do not plan on registering for the next term (excluding summer school).
