The procedures in this section apply only to Transitional Assistance (GA-TA) cases. For Family and Children Assistance cases see WAG 03-13-00.

Nonexempt GA-TA clients must cooperate with the Food Stamp Employment and Training (FSE&T) program. Advise nonexempt clients of the FSE&T requirements that are a condition of eligibility. Register all nonexempt clients age 16 through 54, with FSE&T. Exempt clients do not have to meet FSE&T requirements. Refer to FSE&T any exempt clients who receive food stamps and want to volunteer.
