A person who is on a strike that is not approved by union leadership or is prohibited by law is ineligible for General Assistance (GA).
If a strike is approved by union leadership and is not against the law, the striker can qualify for GA by cooperating with the SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E & T) Program. See PM 03-14-02 for policy on SNAP E & T.
