(FCRC) For GA, at intake and at each REDE, verify if any member of the benefit unit is on strike. If a member of the unit is on strike at any time during the month, take one of the following actions based on
the policy for the strike situation:
- deny the application, or
- cancel the case, or
- delete the striking member from the case or application.
For active cases, if there are at least 10 days left until the regular monthly mail date, immediately cancel the case or delete the striking member. If there are less than 10 days left, cancel the case or delete the member for the next month.
For Food Stamps and TANF Cash, determine the unit's eligibility using the income as it was on the day before the strike began.
