To be eligible for payment, child care must be provided through a legal child care arrangement. That means:

  • the child care provider cannot be a member of the benefit unit;
  • the child care provider must be at least 18 years of age;
  • the child care provider cannot have been convicted of one or more of the crimes listed in PM 06-16-09; and
  • care must be provided in or by one or more of the following:
