End QMB benefits when a client:

  • loses Part A entitlement (e.g., a disabling medical condition for a person under 65 improves);
  • no longer meets financial or nonfinancial requirements; or
  • was incorrectly approved for QMB.

When ending QMB benefits or when a client is notified by SSA that benefits have ended, notify the SSA Programs Control Unit.
