(FCRC/All Kids Unit)

Cancel a case with TA 22/TAR 40 if a family receiving All Kids Rebate loses their health insurance. Set up a All Kids Share or All Kids Premium case, unless they do not want All Kids Share or All Kids Premium and will be insured again within the next 90 days. The family does not need to reapply or verify income until the next Renewal.

If the family does not want All Kids Share or All Kids Premium and will be insured again within the next 90 days, notify the HFS Bureau of Fiscal Operations to suspend Rebate payments. The case continues to appear as active on the CDB. After 90 days, if Form 2378KCB has not been received for the new insurance, cancel the case and set up a All Kids Share or All Kids Premium case.

Example: The B family receives All Kids Rebate. Their 12-month eligibility period is 10/02 through 09/03. On 01/08/03, the family notifies the All Kids Unit that Mr. B changed jobs and lost his health insurance on 01/01/03.

The All Kids Unit cancels the All Kids Rebate case and set up a All Kids Share or All Kids Premium case effective 02/03. This will change the 12-month eligibility period to 02/03 through 01/04, so the All Kids Unit sets a control to renew eligibility in 09/03.
