FY 2020 IDHS/SUPR FUNDING APPLICATIONS NOW POSTED

The Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery has posted the FY 2020 funding applications and Programmatic Risk Assessments at http://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=114615. All current grant funded providers are required to apply for FY 2020 funding. Each step must be completed by all applicants before IDHS staff can accept any application for funding.

Each applicant must:

  1. Have a current DUNS number. Renewal occurs annually, and information is updated as needed.
  2. Have a current System for Award Management CAGE Code at www.sam.gov. Renewal occurs annually, and information is updated as needed.
  3. Register and be in good standing with the Office of the Illinois Secretary of State (does not apply to government entities and schools). Renewal occurs annually, and information is updated as needed.
  4. Register with the GATA/CSFA system at https://grants.illinois.gov/registration/. The system will automatically check your registrations with the above-mentioned systems. It will also check to see if your entity is on the federal excluded parties list and if your entity is on the State of Illinois Stop Pay/Compliance list. If your entity is not up-to-date on the registrations or is listed on the federal list or Illinois Stop Pay/Compliance list, your application will not be accepted until these situations are resolved.
  5. Pre-qualify by completing the Administrative and Fiscal Risk Assessment (ICQ) on the Grantee Portal. Occurs annually, and the information is updated as needed and is only completed once per organization.
  6. Complete a Programmatic Risk Assessment on the Grantee Portal.
  7. Complete a budget in the CSA Tracking System. Print a hard copy as part of the funding application and submit it with the application.
  8. Submit the completed grant proposal to DHS.GrantApp@Illinois.gov electronically by 4/23/2019 at 3:00 p.m. Email must include signed Uniform Grant Application and signed printout of budget. See file naming instructions on the Grant Applications page.
