ANNOUNCING DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF PLANNING, PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT AND FEDERAL PROGRAMS

I am pleased to announce that Stephanie Frank has joined the Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (IDHS/SUPR) as the Deputy Director of Planning, Performance Assessment and Federal Programs! Stephanie was serving as the Project Director for the Illinois Prevent Prescription Drug/Overdose-Related Deaths (PDO) and brings a wealth of knowledge to the position with over 30 years of experience as a clinician, advocate, and trainer. She has served as an effective administrator within the fields of child welfare, mental health and substance use and recovery.

Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. She is proud to be part of the SUPR team and looks forward to promoting a system of care that supports treatment and recovery in an environment where engaging in behavioral health and substance use services is strength-based and viewed positively, without stigma or judgement.
