RFI: Geographic Boundaries for Independent Service Coordination Agencies

Helping Families. Supporting Communities. Empowering Individuals.

7/17/2018

In the late summer/early fall of 2018, the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) will be issuing a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for Independent Service Coordination (ISC) agencies for Fiscal Year 2020 contracts. As part of the NOFO process, IDHS DDD intends to redefine the geographic boundaries to which ISC agencies are currently assigned and reduce the number of distinct ISC agencies currently under contract.

To prepare for this change, IDHS DDD has published a Request for Information (RFI) to learn from the community what factors to consider in determining geographic boundaries, how many ISC agencies are believed necessary to provide quality service statewide, and how these factors might be weighed.

Please read the RFI for detailed information: Request for Information: Geographic Boundaries for Independent Service Coordination Agencies
