WAG 23-09-01-g: Releasing a Lien

Refer all requests for releases of a lien, in writing, to HFS BOC Technical Recovery Section. Include specific details. If the property has been transferred, include the following:
the amount and type of consideration received,
the value of the property transferred,
the expenses of the sale,
the amount of the seller's taxes, and
other claims on the property that come before the lien.

Completes Certification of Release of Lien (Form 233) when payment satisfies a lien in full.
(BOC)
Files the release with the County Recorder of Deeds.
