DCSE provides child support services for dependent children who receive cash and/or medical benefits:

  • cash categories 02, 03, 04, and 06;
  • AABD Medical categories 92 and 93;
  • Assist categories 94 and 96.

NOTE: 94R cases and any case in spenddown status are excluded from referral.

Continuation Cases

When a family no longer receives TANF, but the adult(s) and a child(ren) continue to receive medical benefits, the adult(s) must continue to cooperate with CSE as a condition of their eligibility.

NOTE: CSE continuation cases are identified on the Recipient Ledger Warrant Inquiry screen with the following designators for case category. Code N4 or N6 means an 04 or 06 cash continuation. M4 or M6 means a 94 or 96 Medical continuation. SI means a category 03 or 93 continuation case. Payments shown on this screen with these category designators identify current monetary support payments.
