WAG 22-06-01
The following persons may qualify for payment of funeral and burial expenses. A person may qualify from the first day of medical eligibility through the month in which cancellation is effective.
- Clients who receive TANF, AABD Cash, AABD Medical, Assist, Moms and Babies,
, HBWD or Foster Care/Adoption Care. This includes any period of zero grant status and unmet spenddown status. A person may also qualify if they have applied and have been determined eligible.
- A stillborn child of a mother who qualifies.
- A baby who dies before being added to an active case.
- A deceased person who would have qualified for Assist, Moms and Babies, or AABD Medical when they were alive if they had applied. Application has to be made within 3 months after the calendar month of death.
