WAG 21-06-10.
A nonexempt SNAP client who fails or who refuses to comply with SNAP E & T requirements without good cause, is subject to an SNAP E & T work sanction. The conciliation process is completed prior to imposing the sanction. An Earnfare participant engaged in
activities to earn cash assistance is not subject to a sanction due to noncompliance with the SNAP E & T program.
A noncustodial parent who fails to cooperate with the court order to take part in Earnfare remains eligible for SNAP benefits, if they receive SNAP benefits. Refer the noncustodial parent to DCSE for failure to comply with a court order. Volunteers cannot
be sanctioned.
