  1. (Client) Makes decisions about handling personal funds, unless incapable.
  2. (Client) May save funds up to asset limit.
  3. (FCRC) Advise client on use of personal funds, if asked.
  4. (FCRC) Discourage use of personal funds for purchase of, or contribution toward, purchase of items or equipment that facility should provide or that will benefit facility.
  5. (FCRC) Verify amount in personal account at REDE, for active cases.
  6. (FCRC) Use any excess amount in personal account in monthly credit or spenddown calculation.
  7. (FCRC) Do immediate special review when informed that personal funds are more than allowable, because of receiving other income or nonexempt assets.
  8. (Facility) Reports all funds belonging to resident to Family Community Resource Center, when resident leaves facility (excluding SLF facility).
