Cash

(Intake) Use TA 62 and TAR 90 to change a basic number or to correct the number when the application was registered incorrectly.

  • AIS - On the Change ID screen in Option 7 of the AIS, process a TA 62. For cash programs enter TAR 90 in Item 33. These codes will not generate a notice.
  • IPACS - Complete a blank Form 552, see WAG 02-05-02 with the following exceptions:
    • Item 1 - Enter the entire case number (category, Family Community Resource Center, group, basic number) originally reported at the bottom of the Item and enter the entire correct case number at the top of the Item.
    • Item 3 - Enter TA 62. Other portions of the case ID number, found to be in error, may be corrected at the same time.
    • Item 33 - Enter TAR 90.
    • new textItem 53 - Enter the county of residence. The county of residence is the 3 digit code corresponding to the office number of the FCRC located in the household's county of residence.

SNAP

(Intake) Complete Form 552, to change or correct a case number.

Change the case number to a Category 08 number before the Cash or Medical denial or cancellation if:

  • Cash or Medical application is to be denied, or
  • a Cash or Medical case is to be canceled and there is a pending SNAP application.

Complete the Form 552 used to register the application as follows:

  • Item 1 - Enter the new or correct case number (category, Family Community Resource Center, group, basic number) at the top of the Item.
  • Item 2 - Enter the effective month and year.
  • Item 3 - Enter TA 62. The system creates TA 61, Close Out of Wrong Case Number, to complete the transaction.
  • Item 4 - Enter 7.
  • Items 5, 6, 8 - Complete.
  • Items 9-10 - Complete if address has changed.
  • new textItem 53 - Enter the county of residence. The county of residence is the 3 digit code corresponding to the office number of the FCRC located in the household's county of residence.
